Hi! I'm Taylor.
I'm glad you're here.
I'm a beach bum, book nerd from FL, who moved to Nashville with a dream of doing glam for the music industry. I joined the best Aveda team I could find at William Edge Salon, and became an @aveda #ArtistsToWatch.
For over 5 years, I've styled the ABC Red Carpet show for the CMA Awards and backstage for CMA 360º. I've worked with Reba McEntire, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Charlie Daniels, Chris Young, Lee Brice, Michael Ray, Sarah Darling, Nada Taha and Caroline Kole, to name a few. With my amazing William Edge team, I've served as lead Makeup Artist for Nashville Fashion Week, creating looks for fashion designers including Anna Sui, Amanda Valentine, Johnathan Kayne and Any Old Iron.
As a guest speaker at William Edge AVEDA Tribal Forum 2018, I spoke about how our clients are the hero of our story, and how we can best guide them to success. One of my proudest moments is volunteering with Look Good Feel Better, teaching women with cancer how to overcome the appearance related side effects of their treatment.
I won Gold Medal in the Skills USA Competition for Cosmetology, and the 1st guest post on Lauren Conrad's TheBeautyDepartment.com with my Boho Braid creation. On my 20th birthday, I achieved my Bachelor's in Studio Art from Florida State University, and I use it every day applying color theory, shape and texture to create looks helping my guests feel like the best version of themselves.
Ultimately for me, doing hair and makeup is about channeling people's unique beauty they already have inside. As creator and host of the podcast, Pretty Please, I explore how we can discover beauty beyond hair and makeup, by chatting with empowering people about how to ignite our fire within.
